Speakers
Geoff Roach
Geoff Roach joined Keiretsu Forum in the fall of 2004. A native of New Orleans,
Geoff is a veteran 30 years as an entrepreneur in the technology industry in the
United States and Europe. Geoff held sales and marketing positions at Cullinet,
the first software company to go public, to reach a billion dollar market
valuation, and to be listed on the NYSE. At DEC, Geoff led a software group
covering nearly 20 countries with revenue over $400 million. Moving to
Silicon Valley in 1994, he had management positions at Informix, Pure Software,
Callidus Software, and other companies. Geoff was part of a management team at
Mergent Systems that led the acquisition of Mergent by Commerce One resulting in
a return of over 30 times in less than 18 months. Besides his time with
Keiretsu, Geoff serves as Executive Director of San Jose Jazz, producers of the
annual Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival. His jazz octet, Octobop, had its fourth CD
reach number 4 on the national jazz charts in 2007. Geoff has a BS from University of
Louisiana, an MS from Clemson University, an MBA from the University of
Missouri, and is a graduate of the Stanford Business School Executive Program.
He is currently finishing a Doctorate of Business Administration Degree from the
University of Phoenix. He is still trying to create the perfect gumbo.

David Dembitz, Thirty-two years of sales, marketing and executive management experience ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 500 such as AboveNet Communications, Accellion Inc., SynOptics Communications (Nortel) and Unisys/Burroughs. Mr. Dembitz expertise include accelerating revenue growth, securing key major accounts, building sales and marketing teams, establishing brand identity and market validation for new products/services, developing and implementing strategic business plans and speaking at institutional investor conferences.

Mr. Dembitz had the unique experience of managing through AboveNet’s entire company lifecycle that included start-up venture funding, public offerings, acquisitions, and ultimately a merger with a larger company.

Mr. Dembitz graduated from University of Utah with his MBA, BS Dual Major: Economics and Management. He currently is an active member of the Keiretsu Forum of Silicon Valley.
